Greetings from Ed Dailey with Legends of Country Since October of 2011, I started getting inquires from Non-Profit groups about doing fund raiser concerts for them. There are many groups that because of the economy, that need a little extra help. My goal with our Non Profit (Waymaker Ministries) is to raise enough money to cover the expenses of the concerts, so that every dime that comes in goes to the charity. I have 6 – 7 concerts that I feel I need to do in 2011, so far in December 2010, on an ice and snow slick night around 200 people showed up to help us raise over 700 pounds of food for the Union Gospel Mission in Pasco and over 650 Cash. In January 2011 we went to Lewiston Idaho, for a fundraiser at the Lewiston Elks club, for the Lewiston food bank. We had a great night, over 330 people came out and we had almost 850 pounds of food and almost 900 cash all for the food bank. Donations from small businesses, radio listeners, friends, and supporters paid all the expenses of both of those concerts. Saturday Feb. 26th in Walla Walla, WA we had our 3rd charity concert in the last three months. Our charity was The Jubilee Youth Ranch. Actress, Singer, and Entertainer from Hollywood, Rebecca Holden came to join us, plus Rob Silvey, April DeCock , Cale Moon and Myself, were the entertainment. We had 200 to 300 folks at the show, the crowd looked small becasue we were in a 1100 seat auditorium. But it was a real good crowd, and the charity made some money. We ....my Waymaker ministries group is in need of donations for our next fundraiser. I need around $1400.00 before I can schedule the next benefit.
